Palindrome Genetics is designed to avoid collecting personal identifying information. The platform is structured for educational genetic analysis using tokenized records rather than identity-linked medical profiles.
Information We Do Not Collect
Within the core upload and analysis experience, we do not intentionally collect:
- Names, email addresses, or personal contact information
- Protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA
- Government-issued identification numbers
- Biometric identifiers beyond the genetic test data you voluntarily upload
Tokenized Upload System
When you upload a genetic test file:
- Your upload is assigned a unique encrypted token number
- This token is the only identifier associated with your genetic data
- You receive this token at upload and can use it to retrieve your data later
- No personal identity is attached to the genetic test within our analysis flow
Data Storage & Handling
Genetic data uploaded to Palindrome Genetics is processed for educational analysis purposes. Uploaded files are parsed to extract variant information, which is then matched against our knowledge base for educational interpretation.
We do not sell, share, or distribute genetic data to third parties. Analysis results and reports are generated on our infrastructure and are retrievable only via the encrypted token provided at upload.
Cookies & Analytics
The platform may use minimal cookies for session management and theme preferences. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics services.
AI Processing
Your genetic variant data may be processed by AI systems to generate personalized educational analysis. This processing uses anonymized variant data (rsIDs and genotypes) without any personal identifiers attached.
Data Retention
Upload sessions and generated reports are retained for retrieval purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us with your encrypted token number.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect genetic data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Significant changes will be noted with an updated revision date at the top of this page.
